Do or die? Sounds harsh, right? Well, I’ve noticed that many people are asleep – or they want to sleep – in order to avoid the discomfort of living on the leading, raw edge of possibility. What do I mean? Feeling sick to your stomach, anxious or fearful when stepping forward into your dreams is the deal. Think of it as EXCITEMENT. Many people will put up with crappy relationships, jobs, friendships, addictions, etc. just to avoid feeling the discomfort of moving forward.

However, once you make the decision to FEEL the discomfort and DECIDE to live your Life Purpose, no matter what, do or die… only then can you begin to experience what you want. You have to BE the person you want to attract – whether for love, business or friendship. If you have a hole inside, nothing can fill it – not money, not love, not possessions.

What can fill it? Knowing you are a child of the Universe, with a unique Life Purpose that only you can fulfill. If you’re worrying about the bills, your health, your relationships, you have NO FAITH in a source greater than yourself and are probably doomed to the same crap over and over. So go ahead and defend it if you want to… I have compassion for your struggle, but not for your story. Please, I beg of you, if any of what I’m saying resonates with you, stop telling that old story today. Don’t tell one more person your sad tales of woe. No one is interested and you’re only reinforcing the crap you want to release (“crap” is such an all-purpose word!). Stop telling me about how you need to pay the bills, appease your husband or your boss, find a quick fix or some quick cash. It’s the wrong path, the right desire. You are aiming to rid yourself of that which ails you… but it’s pretty impossible to do if that’s all you FOCUS your ATTENTION on. Look where you WANT to go – NOT where you don’t want to go. Drive AROUND the tree!

Yeah, I had one of those days where several people wanted to tell me why they didn’t have what they wanted and then defend it to me. That’s fine… if that’s what you WANT to do… but it’s not – not really, is it? Your EGO has one job – to keep you alive. It will use anything in its power – fear, manipulation, panic attacks – to stop you moving forward.

Good news! Research reveals (see the current brain series on PBS Television) that the brain is more plastic than previously thought. Good thoughts AND bad thoughts, thought repeatedly, over and over, carve channels into the brain. The more you think whatever you think, the more the brain goes to town to make sure you think it even more. So better keep those thoughts clean, eh? People say positive affirmations ‘don’t work’ because they don’t believe them. Of course you don’t believe them… until you’ve said them enough times that you DO believe them. It’s called positive brainwashing. You were brainwashed as a child to trust your senses over your COMMON SENSE – which comes from God, the Divine, Higher Mind, Infinite Intelligence – and now you’d rather believe that money (or whatever) is difficult to obtain rather than believing that we live in an Infinitely Abundant Universe. Do you make the oak tree grow? Think about it…
