    Hi Beth,

    Hope you’re loving Paris!

I’d love to win this contest because firstly, it’s my 41st birthday tomorrow and I’m needing a major change to happen in my life.
You see, I’m a caretaker of everyone around me and even teach others how to ‘escape the pace,’ but I don’t always walk the talk.
Between working in my husband and my retail store for the last 9 years(not my passion) taking care of family and the needs of others, my absolute true passion - visual art is ignored.
In fact, I got a degree in visual art, won art scholarships and haven’t done it for 12 years!
Having to making a living at it took the joy away and I settled on ‘whatever made money’ except for coaching - which I also absolutely LOVE.
If I won this contest, I could be an inspiration to the people I coach, I could paint in Paris (my absolute, to-die-for dream) and make a huge difference in the world.
I can’t tell you what it would mean as I lived through an alcoholic father and clinically depressed mother, thought of suicide at 16 but somehow managed to dream of a bigger, better life despite no support system (I believed in God). I want to show people that anything is possible, no matter how dire the situation and that if you believe, nothing bad stays that way forever. You must focus on the good in people and the world and this is what you will see! It took me close to 40 years before I found this out.

I heard you on a wonderful conference call with Reggie Odom earlier this year.

Starting the country’s first lifelong learning institute for lesbians and gay men of retirement age (Stonewall Communities Lifelong Learning Institute at Wheelock College) has given me many opportunities to admire, seek out and support creativity in others. I need to do this for myself, too. The second half of life is when we are meant to deepen and blossom.

I am willing to shed self-limiting beliefs and practices (perfectionism, care-taking, worry, resentment) and need help getting grounded in my own dreams and purpose. Right now they are beautiful fragments and I need to get to the center or the source.

I meditate and journal several days a week and know that the voices and direction I need to hear are in me. As a very visual person who has pondered the lines in my hands, I would welcome the gift of a purpose reading and guidance from you.

I’m at a point in my life where I want to find My Life Purpose. I’m taking care of my mother who has Alzheimer’s, holding down a fulltime job, plus taking care of my husband and son. The At-Home Retreat Study Course would be perfect for me since I’m really confined to home at this time. It sounds wonderful and just what I need, but cannot afford since my husband’s work in construction has all but come to a halt, etc.

I’ve always wanted to see the Eiffel Tower, too.

    Hi Beth,
I have never been to France, but someday I love to go! As for winning this contest, I need more focus in my life. I help so many others, but I need help also. Sometimes when I am helping others, I forget about myself and lose my direction.
We are suffering from a severe flood in Iowa right now…our home is safe, but MANY have lost much. Thanks for this opportunity and I sincerely hope you have a WONDERFUL time away!
    Take care,
    Maggie

Now that I am certain that my Life Purpose is being the Healer of Healers, I now need the resources provided by this contest to implement my plan of success. My funds are very low right now and a step up would help immensely. I was absolutely delighted to have a confirmation of what Beth told me during my hand analysis.

    Blessings,

Hey Universe, this would be a delightful gift for a “major” birthday! Have a wonderful time there in Paris. Colorado is a great place to find great things! (I live in CO.)

I have been fighting an incurable liver disease for the last 2 years and have completely changed my diet. I have improved so my Doctor has been amazed. My side affects have diappeared and my spleen shrunk back down to normal, among other symptoms disappearing. I was to have a liver transplant about a year ago and have manage to avoid it for now. I am writing about my story but can’t seem to get pass that. I feel strongly that others need to know the impact natural, healing foods have on our body, but I need some direction, courage and confidence that I am lacking. I have always wanted to come to your retreats but can’t afford them. This contest is the only way I will be able to make it. Hoping to see you there.

Beth, while I’d like to win your course and I have submitted a response earlier, your post today inspired me to write.
So I’m responding to today’s thoughts only.
It’s your fault, you know. About a year ago you begin to crumble my construct with a reply from “left-field” so to speak. This year has been an amazing ride though I’d never have chosen the exact stepping stones to get “there.”
For the past month I have been having weekly sessions with a Reiki master who also happens to be a shaman. Everytime for a couple of days afterwards when I lay down to sleep a movie reel runs, sometimes for several hours. I don’t mind, in fact I love it.
Last night’s “movie” ties in with your post today. I’m sure you remember or can imagine a family outing when you was a little child. Travelling at highway speeds scencrey sped by too fast to appreciate it. But once you got to a “side road” where the car slowed down and you pressed your nose to a side window. Remember how awe struck and delightful each bit of diversity was. How a rock, a stream, or house appeared from out of nowhere and each was different. How, if you’d looked ahead some of the wonder would have lost its luster.
So I guess what I’m taking from this is not too look too far ahead with your dreams, have them, and enjoy the ride along the way.
I hope I was able to put into words a portrait of some of what is running around inside me.
    Thanks again, Beth

I would love to win your contest so I could learn and share your work with cancer survivors and give them hope. Joining the world again after chemotherapy was very difficult for me. It took me 18 months to dig out of the hole that I was stuck in. I needed the nine steps myself. Because I am in remission and not cured it is as though Damiclesis sword hangs over my head and bumps me on a regular basis and then I get stuck again. I have tried to be a role model for others in my situation. I think your program would give me more tools for myself and others.

    Hi, Beth,

It’s been a few years since you did a reading for me. Lots of wonderful changes since then, for sure, and still lots of casting around for what comes next.
I am trusting that if the clarity and the work is to come this way, then the At-Home Retreat Study will open..

    Thanks for the wonderful offer!

You look terrific: fit right in!

Did you go to the Trocadero? You will soon recognize a lot of images from my film if you do. You remember PARIS IS A WOMAN … and indeed she is!

    Dear Beth,

When I first met you over 2 years ago I was shocked and resonating as you pointed me in the right direction. Since then I have floundered and often gotten lost along the way, each time struggling to find my way back to truth. Having been awakened, I yearn for more, yet it’s taken me until now to finally surrender and realize that I cannot do it alone.

I think I should win this program opportunity because I’m ready to live it. I want to eat it, breathe it, be it. I’m tired, so tired of going around in circles. I can’t do it anymore. Our time here is so short. I just can’t waste anymore time. I need to take action and find the way. Just as much, I need to reach out for support, uncover the sub-conscious blocks that are holding me back and let it flow.

What would I do with this gift and knowledge and empowerment? Send love. Use my gifts to send love. Every day. Every moment I possibly can, walking down the street or reaching out to thousands. My cells vibrate my innate mission to send love. To empower others. To play big. I’m ready. I’m ready to accept my gifts. Make me a channel of peace. Thank you for this opportunity. Even if I’m not chosen, I intend to continue on my path and live my life purpose.

I really want to win this “life purpose at-home retreat study course” because I believe I am finally in the right spot to let all the crap go and forge ahead with my dream. When I got divorced 8 years ago I began a spiritual journey of discovering myself. It wasn’t always enjoyable but always empowering! Now I feel that I am at a stage where everything is lining up to release my old habits and blocks and set free to explore the wonderous abundance the universe has to offer! But, my one major drawback is that I’m not quite sure what that life purpose is or how to go about getting it. This is where Beth’s wonderful gift comes into play!I am very grateful to her and her gifts!
    Thank you for considering me!

    Hi Beth,
This is my second post and seeing you in Paris, affirms to me one of the resaons why I need to follow my life purpose of being the big shot business woman in the public eye. I want the freedom you have created for yourself along with the blessings of helping others create their life long vision which I am also building my business around.

Since getting your past email from Paris, I have taken several bold action steps toward building my business that I may not have taken had I not read your post from Paris.

The bottom line Beth is that I have a great life, great husband, kids , friends, job. I do not need to know my life purpose to be OK BUT I need to know and follow my life purpose to be PHENEMONAL, which is what I want. AND I know I have what it takes to be phenemonal, however I need some guidance, confirmation and accountability along the way. I know your life purpose vision program will help me with that. As I mentioned in my previous post, I feel I am on the cusp on something PHENEMONAL> My vision board confirms it when I look at it daily and see the word PHENEMONAL WOMAN!

    See you in Paris!!!

    Hi Beth

2008 was the year that I promised to truly love myself and I feel I’m well on my way. My meditation for living my life purpose was to ‘keep it simple’ and I think winning a spot in your program will help me accomplish this. At times my fears and self-doubt have stopped me in my tracks of moving forward and having the courage to put myself ‘out there’ and connecting to people in a healing way. I’m ready to put the pieces of the puzzle together. Thanking you for all that you do.

    HI Beth,

It’s me again, Peggy Porter. I have soooo many visions, goals, dreams and ways I want to be the big shot business woman in the public eye and I really need some of your intuitive guidance to help me sort it all out. I know winning this home study course would allow me the structure I desire to bring my message to the world in a BIG way.

I feel the commitment to bringing my business and message to the world in every ounce of my being.

I need some support, accoutability and mentorship to keep me on course and hold my intention of what I know I am capable off.

Working with you would be such a pleasure and I know I would apply your Life Purpose Vision Course to bring my purpose to the world as creating this course for you, allows you to bring your vision to the world.

Cheers to sipping wine in Paris!!!

    Hi,
I’m a 16 yr. old girl and I would love to have the chance to take part in the home study course. I’m interested in becoming a heart surgeon when I’m older. That will take lots of school and a lot of money and I want to be sure that I was meant to do it. I don’t want to waste years of my life going down the wrong path and regretting it. It would be wonderful to know what my purpose, life lessons, and gifts are so that I can make my life what I want it to be. I would love to know what was meant for my life so that I could make it happen and be the best person I can be.
    Thanks

    Hello!

I have tried to enter this contest two times, and upon writing my closing I have deleted my entry some how???

I am not sure what message I am supposed to be getting right now, but third time’s a charm right?

I would be honored to win a free spot in the Life Purpose Vision At-Home Retreat Study Course!

After listening to the 9 steps to get unstuck and unleash your life purpose several times I feel that I have been able to build a bridge between my soul and my brain, which allows me to understand why I have felt so out of sync with my life in the past. I also feel validated as to why it is so important for me to know my life purpose and to get on with sharing my gifts to those that are waiting for me to share it with them.

Becoming a mother 7 years ago opened up my heart and started me on the path to discover my purpose on this planet, and I have been a dedicated student ever since. I want to model for my daughters the happiness that can be found in life when one is in line with their life’s purpose.

The journey gets challenging at times, and I feel I could use a map to help me uncover my gifts that I am feeling ready to share.

This course feels like the next step in my life, and I would be very grateful to have the opportunity to know my life’s purpose sooner than I could see it happening otherwise.

    Thank you for this gift!

    Bonne nuit,
    Sarah

Hi Beth. Thank you for the opportunity to voice why I feel I should receive your generous offerings for the home study course plus… I have always known that all answers and hints about our life’s enfoldment come from within and when I saw you on stage this year I knew your message was for me to hear and apply. I am fascinated by the power of the messages in our hands, a blue print of sorts. I am stepping out into my dream career as a public speaker/trainer and feel this program would assist me with my ability to connect to others with a much greater impact. I feel that the identification or clarity of life purpose is one of those things that holds people back from doing their dreams and in experiencing the magic of their lives now. I’d like to add your tools to my knowledge base and to share with myself and with others your gifts. I am ready to play full out!

Thanks for the snapshot of you in Paris! Enjoy!

    Hi Beth,
I have listened to a few of your teleseminars and found them very enlightening. I am still contemplating my life purpose but feel I am close.
I’ve had a drastic course this year which has caused me to refocus my goals. I have been a very active caregiver in the health of my Father and my Mother. I’ve shifted my career from high tech to health and wellness about 5 years ago to be able to assist them in all their serious health battles. It was difficult being long distance and managing their care. I was able to help them as best I could as well as others. My Father was able to live (and at home) a year longer than his doctors expected.
Well during this time I decided to combine my knowledge of hi-tech and integrate it into health education. I developed multi-media coursework in health and wellness and a Website for a new endeavor in the field of anti-aging medicine. In December of 2007 the project came to an end. The Academy I was working with decided for financial reasons not to continue this new online institution. Two weeks after that I had an accident - a broken wrist (complete break) and fractured a few ribs. A month later my Mother (who I was extemely close with) was undergoing lymphedema therapy unexpectedly passed away. It was devastating and I suffered adrenal fatique.

I stumbled into an opportunity that I feel was presented to me for a reason. So I decided to turn things around personally and professionally and received my certification in Holistic Stress Management of which I am completing the certification requirements. Stress as they say is “an equal opportunity destroyer” and effects everyone. Technostress in this day and age is profound. Most people do not know how to manage this.
I am also a Certified Weight Management coach.

During the years in assisting with the health of my parents I lost alot of income which I am now trying to overcome. I am so grateful I made the decision to help them when they needed it the most, but must now face the facts of my financial status.

My dilema is whether to try to go back to high tech where I would be able to recover financially. Or continue in my new pursuit of Stress Management (which will take time to get my presentations and services to the public.) but can help alot of others in the process.

I am trying to get multi-media courses in stress management approved in other online universities but it seems to be a slow process. I have had courses approved before (CME’s and CEU’s which took several months). The online courses would serve as a way to get the information out to people all over the world and at the same time supply me with additional income while I develop the holistic stress management business.

At this stage, I feel that intuitive guidance would be of great assistance to me. I hope you would consider me for the “Life Purpose Vision At-Home Retreat Study Course” The guidance would be a huge help in my decisions to serve others.
    THank You,
    Deb Monfette

    Hey Beth!

OMG! I am just tapping into this contest and my emails, I have been on a vacation and enjoying my family!
You two “lovebirds” are having an continuing extension and ongoing “RENDEZVOUS” in Paris of your 8+++++ into infinity- year- long and many-many more “LOVE FEST”, SALUTE to the two of you now and forever! YAY!

Well you two go for it, even if you get this on the flight back I know your honeymoon is ever constant and BEAUTIFUL, incredibly of the HEART and so much more. (love your story, not only the most romantic power packed journey you took and then to top it off, COLORADO!!! I love Colorado!!!

Okay, to put forth my request why I would like/love to win this “Life Purpose at home Retreat Study” would be in the words of whom I have studied with in my past, and also present to this day AND FOREVER IN MY HEART. It is in these words by Joesph Campbell himself, this is me speaking that there is a stirring within me/always has been, now Joseph,”in this age of the religion of materialism, the politics of expediency and the glorification of greed, there continues to be the still small voice of the call, the silent unsung plea within each of us. To give up one’s conditioned view of the world and follow the visionary adventure of the creative hero- this is the true challenge of contemporary times. I feel your “Life Vision” study is this and more. I feel I am ready to go forth and study with you Beth. I feel this is really “GOLD”(MORE THAN THIS!) on a true path of unfolding of manifesting for myself and passing it onto to others the 100th monkey, gazillionth journey for those who really want to know themselves and fulfill their true and ever so beautiful “Life Purpose”! YAY! When it all comes down to it we all deserve to “WIN” this, those who are on a path of spreading the info, the Truth and wanting a REAL GROWTH SPURT in and around all over our world.

ALL MY LOVE AND THE BEST OF EVERYTHING TO ALL!

    Love & Light,
    Suzannah

P.S. YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL IN THE PHOTO AND HAPPY! Also your husband is a HUNK!

Hi Beth - My Criteria suggestions:

    1. Pick the person you feel will actually use the skills you will be imparting to them to bring about real change in the world.

    2. Maximize your gift by picking someone who will use those skills to empower others, so that, like a ripple on the pond, the effects of your one gift reach more and more and more people.

    3. Pick someone who appreciates the quality of your work and will recommend you to many others, so your fine work can spread.

Oh, I guess I know who meets all these criteria: that would be Me! (chuckle, chuckle)

I love your games, Beth. I’m taking careful notice of your strategies. I think you’re a genius. Have fun no matter who you pick!

Wishing you much love, health, wealth and happiness,
    Cari Alter

    Hi Beth.

How fabulous is “Robert”s post below.

Maybe its too late for this but blow it.
I will write to you anyway.

I am not a mother, and I have not had to battle cancer and recover like some of your terrifically brave and valiant posters have. That isnt lip service either, I am a qualified hypnotherapist and worked in oncology fora bit because attitude carves the shape of your recovery. So these people who clamber up from tumour tumult, really are Zen warriors with proof, and even though you’re all strangers, well done.

This year I met the Universe properly and stopped taking it for granted. I allowed myself to fall, and it caught me. My career choices for a decade have been from a seat of ethics and hope: i was a charity fundraiser for a number of int’l dev’t NGOs, trained as a hypnotherapist to help people overcome compulsion and trauma and “should” self-harmers, delayed private practise to be an autism support worker and see if communication patterns from hypnosis can reach higher-functioning autistic adults and make the world easier, turns out it can. I kept pushing money away to follow this shapeless certainty. Doing FRing I’d get offered sales commission jobs, advertising companies asked me offhand to come do consulting for them with the editing aspects of forensic hypnosis/hypnotherapy, people would ask me to copywrite for them. As a volunteer by nature, I would agree to projects to help people, then not know what or how to charge. And either get taken for a ride or just not follow up the lead.

I think I was turning things down.

Was seeing a chap who wasn’t right for me, but he’d been at the end of a long string of unexplainable coincidences. Mad, mad, impossible coincidences. Finally let it go because HE wasn’t the reason. Suddenly met a millionairre who changed my way of looking at money and value: if I can only give and feel comfortable,I’m on an ego-trip.I have to learn to receive to be able to “hear” my fellow man.

Now i am writing. Like a thirsty woman who has found a well or a parachute owner who has found an upstream. I want to do things over the internet, to give me freedom to move, and to give me space to pursue what makes me lose myself like an artist. Working with the brain, the communication patterns of autistic people and the immunity-suggestions inherent in languages where aspects like HIV-longevity are varied across language groups (but not genetics). I care about this so much, the patterns make sense, and i feel at home there. But it doesnt pay the bills! and if I don;t combine it with something for ME, too, then I’ll become exhausted and sadness will contaminate my efforts. Also, I don;t want to ignore the wealthy anymore. They aren’t just a cash cow to be squeezed for the poor… surely thats making people become co-dependents rather than empowering people with a knowledge share.

I’m not sure if I have found my life purpose. I feel purpose. but to me it feels like as soon as I live my truth, then whatever I do is on purpose. I guess where your wisdom would be most of use, would be, what is my purpose, as opposed to anyone else. Healer in the spotlight? Speaking-up person? I think anyone can do anything they focus on. But what do my hands say is my purpose that helps me and humanity? what am I so good at that I can do it with my eyes shut? Some of it is fixed, some is changing. I think if I have more of a sense which is which, I;ll go faster, I can help more people, and I’ll be better equipped to explain myself and these perspectives of people whose own self-explanation is harder. I think if that could happen, people might relax into self-expression easier, and would have patience to hear people who struggle to speak and connect. I want this to happen. But what is moving and what is real me. Please shine your wisdom this way, whoever qualified best for your home-study present.

BTW - whoever wins the blog competition, can we hear how they get on with your advice. Before and after! Your perspective is really inspiring Beth, please diarise more of your thoughts. You sound right on track and leave a little path of fans behind you doing brilliant things for the world!! and how cool is that.

    Big love, Jenni
