Announcing The WINNER of Our Life Purpose Vision Contest - Almost!

Posted on Jun. 30, 2008 by Baeth in Business, Life Purpose, Retreats

Arles, France. 2000 year old amphitheatre.Greetings from Provence! C’est moi in the archway of a nearly 2000-year-old Roman amphitheatre in Arles, Provence, France. They still use this arena today for bull fights. Not my cup of tea - too gory (and I ache for the bulls who have no say in the matter) - but what a wonder that it’s still standing - and still in use!

Now, imagine this stadium filled with 20,000 people, cheering the winner of our Life Purpose Vision Contest!

Who is it, you ask?

Well, in deciding the winner, I want it to be based not on need - but on MERIT. Who will best use the course to improve and enhance their own life and the lives of others? Who is juiced up, excited and ready to be of service? I am looking for an achiever, a doer, someone willing to do whatever it takes to be true to themselves and their dreams.

Drumroll please… and the WINNER IS… I haven’t been able to decide! I keep reading YOUR POSTS over and over again and they are so amazing that I’ve been reduced to tears more than once… so I NEED YOUR HELP. Click on the COMMENT BUTTON above (or any post on the right side of this blog) and list, briefly, what you think my TOP 3 criteria should be for the winner. Please don’t be bashful! I’ll tell you all THIS Wednesday who the winner is!

As our winner, the program materials will be shipped to you on the Life Purpose Vision At-Home Retreat PROGRAM LAUNCH date - Thursday, July 10th. So EVERYONE… please MARK YOUR CALENDARS… and stay tuned for our LAUNCH. More details to follow shortly.

While in France, we had little to no internet access most of our trip… a sign to chill out and relax? I would say so. I’ve slept nearly 9 hours EVERY night! C’est la vie. The break was tres bon and much needed. Now, let us all find our joie de vivre! Please tell me the TOP 3 criteria for choosing a winner by clicking on the COMMENT button above now. Thank you.

    Hi Beth,

I’ve never been noted to be bashful so here goes!!!’Here’s what I think the Top 3 Criteria should be…

Persistence-Having such a focused intention and strong desire to win the LPVaHR I eagerly posted 4 times with my different reasons why I should win.

Commitment-There is a difference between wanting to win the LPVaHR course and having the commitment to win AND put it into action. I have been commited to personal and professional growth for many years and the course would allow me to continue with the commitment to wards my goals and help me fulfill my BIG dreams of helping create incredible transformations in the lives of women by supporting them in building their businesses and raising their families, both in an incredibly successful way.

Passion and Enthusiasm- I have such a strong passion to bring my business to the world in a HUGE way. I also know I have the capability and fire. Using this LPVaHR study would greatly structure, enhance and funnel my excitement and passion into an incredible plan that will result into bringing my vision and dreams into reality.

Thanks for helping me stoke up my vision during this contest.

    Peggy Porter.

    Hi Beth! Bonjour!
The 3 main criteria for selecting your winner:
1 - a practical vision and intention for the use of what we learn from your material (so that others observing us learn to center in Spirit stretch themselves too)
2 - use of the learnings from the hand analysis and material that multiplies our impact throughout the world
3 - a winner who can model for others how to use the materials to clarify and leverage our own personal direction and work of Spirit in the world
I’m absolutely certain I ought to be the winner! Since your reading completely turned my intention about selecting a niche of Financial Advisors to being a Healer of Healers… I’ve been plumbing the depths to sort out the connection from my soul and heart - and here it is: I help business owners who are committed to personal growth learn the tools that transform their businesses. All too often people immerse themselves in human potential courses and learn transformational tools for themselves. But when they walk out the door they don’t know how to run their business any more effectively. They end up isolating themselves from others, including their team. I intend to work with them to create companies and teams that change themselves, change their results and change the world. I’ll be magnifying what I learn from your materials in the At-Home Retreat Study Course to create a message that connects with these folks, craft the work I do with them, and create an info-products and programs business to help thousands of people make this happen!
AND 4th - I’ll be giving you fabulous testimonials about all of it.
    Welcome home from Fabulous Paris!

Beth I so glad that your trip went well and it is good to rewind. And it’s also good to remember a time before the internet.
To be honest I don’t know any objective criteria you can use with certainty. But two thoughts do come to mind that might help.
    First go with your heart.
To illustrate the second I need to tell a story. In 2004 I dreamed the title of a book that was out of print. And, even thought I did find books with similar titles and themes none was “that book.” And I knew it. Last year in Barnes & Noble that book jumped off the shelf at me.I only had that dream once but the title was burned into me. So if somebody wrote and said they dreamed about this course even before you knew about it, or provided specifics then I’d consider that person very carefully.
And, while I did enter and would love to claim the course, using the dream criteria leaves me out of the running.
The only hard data I could think of is which entry was the more specific.
Don’t know if that helps but those are my thoughts.

Can’t help you Beth. All of the contestants are worthy. All have enough soulfulness to reach out and ask the Universe (via Beth) for guidance in helping others. Any kind of consolation prize? That might assuage any pain in not choosing them all. How blessed to be approached by such well meaning and hopeful people. Good luck.

(I have a sentimental favorite based on personal criteria.)

  6. Heather Passant

    30. Jun, 2008

    Hi Beth,
I believe the 3 criteria would be Inspiration, Attention and Enthusiasm.
The winner would have the “Inspiration” that has ignited their spirit and given them courage to bring forth the next evolution of who they truly are. Their “Attention” would be like a laser beam on what was inspiring them to bring to the world and be of service. Lastly, they would have the “Enthusiasm” to take action everyday to create the life of their dreams and knowing in taking action they were making a difference in the world.
After listening to a class last week on “The Way of Being” that you need to adopt to support you in playing full out - I will sign off as being “Trusting and Fearless”, the person formerly known as Heather Passant.
PS A million thank you’s for your second call it was amazing and has helped me a great deal! As always, thank you for your special inspiration.

Intellectually, you can consider what people have written as to why you should choose them, but the best would be to pray about(or muscle test about it) who would be the best person whose training would be for the highest good of the earth, and also who feels right for it. Trust your feelings above all else. That’s why you have them.

    Ciao Beth,

Okay- I am Italio all the way! I was wanting to ask you until I saw this email,”Parlais vous France’?” I gather you do speak some French! You are on your plane fight back by the time you get this! How I love you only saw one laptop! HA! HA! There is way too many other things to do while in France for sure! I have missed your emails- yet I am cheering your time for the two of you! Keep the spirit of France with you in Tucson!

The 3 top criteria is that the individual is ready to go forth with real “Focus”, ongoing commitment, responsibilty on all levels and a goal for themselves and others who do this course of study to show and give proven results of real growth, success, and accomplishments that far surpass themselves, passing it onto others, and future others and their path of self discovery. I will stop here I may of probably listed more than three things- yet the three things I have, may off-shoot even more possibilities through this study that will come up and occur, and I find that equally exciting on this path in this particular study of yours Beth.

Take Care and Love, Light, and everything POSITIVE for all!

I can see you’ve got an exceptionally tough assignment here, Beth!

I may be a bit of an iconoclast, but here’s what I would be looking for …

    1. The individual with the most quiet, reserved, humble response
    2. Someone with a financial deficit
    3. A person with special challenges, hardships, and obstacles

To the Hand Lady, I would say “forget criteria”! Go with your heart.

Mentally take each of our hands in your hands and let your heart be your guide.

Trust the angels to match the perfect person with your talents.

It’s not about you or me, it is about what is a perfect union in the grand scheme of the universe at this time.

    Hey Beth,

Since I had posted earlier on the 3 criteria, The 4th criteria if there was one would be the ability to put the course into ACTION. As in many different programs, the content is great and valuable for many but only result in action for some.

I am so ready for ACTION!!!

    Dear Beth,

You’ve made quite the request. It’s not always easy to blow one’s own horn and just this process of trying to capture your attention has been a catalyst to help me center and grow just a bit more. Who said it’s not the destination, but the journey?

You have a tough decision to make. Obviously the people interested in the home study course are those who for one reason or another are not able to be there in person to experience one of your fabulous retreats.

So, number 1 Someone who can’t make it, but whose heart and soul is there and this is the best way they would currently be able to move forward.

Number 2, a fireball who has the self-discipline to stay the course on her own. This is no small feat.

Number 3 well, you feeling the inner tug that this one’s ready. Ready to rock this dream called life, to wake up and just do it. There are no second acts, right?

Thank you for this little opportunity for input and reflection. Best wishes.

    Hi Beth

I have read many of the entries and I agree that you have a challenging decision ahead. I would recommend looking back to your over-arching mission of helping people connect with their true purpose.

The top criteria I would suggest is to select someone that can and would “pay it forward” by offering hand analysis to others to help them uncover their true purpose and thus moving the world closer to the mission you have set out.

The second criteria would be selecting someone that not only has the potential talent but also the empathy and insight to offer the coaching along with the technical analysis. For this criteria, someone that has searched through the darkness themselves in order to find the light of their true purpose would have the empathy.

For the third criteria, I agree with the others that have suggested leaving a little of this to the universe. Once you narrow down the choices, ask yourself, “Which entry just feels right?” And remember, whatever decision you make is the right one.

    Best wishes,
    Sheila Betker

    Hi Beth

Whether you have or have not made your choice for a winner as yet, I believe that you will be guided on your choice.

I hope that the winner’s life will change and that he/she will become a devoted healer who will use your course to serve the people out there. Your price will certainly change someone’s life forever. I know it would change mine.

Good luck and thank you for your stunning work.
